Let's take this chance to start spreading our excitement for the upcoming season! CE Dealer Team by Volvo Construction Equipment is thrilled to confirm Klara Andersson and Niclas Grönholm as the official drivers for the FIA World Rallycross (RX) 2024 season. Emphasizing the focus on drivers, CE Dealer Team aims not only to excel in rallycross but also to champion diversity and sustainability in society.

"We are honored to be confirmed as the official drivers for the FIA World Rallycross (WRX) 2024 season with CE Dealer Team by Volvo Construction Equipment. As drivers, we are thrilled to be part of a team that aims for excellence in rallycross. With our eyes set on the team championship, we are determined to bring our best to every race and lead the team to victory. For me, I'm incredibly excited to start my third season in the FIA World Rallycross Championship with CE Dealer Team! This year is going to be really interesting with the 'Battle of technologies' and also super cool to have the final down under in Australia! Together, we're ready to tackle the challenges ahead and make our mark on and off the track, so let's make this year special" - Klara andersson

Klara Andersson and Niclas Grönholm are optimistic about the direction of the FIA World Rallycross Championship following the recent announcement of its 2024 calendar. With the series set to kick off in Höljes, Sweden in July, both drivers are excited about the introduction of the highly-anticipated season. This groundbreaking event will see the cutting-edge electric RX1e cars go head-to-head against their sustainably-fuelled RX1 combustion counterparts for the first time, marking a significant milestone in the sport's evolution.

"I'm incredibly excited about the upcoming season and the opportunity to compete against the best in the world. While winning is always the ultimate goal, I approach each race with humility and respect for the competition. Every season brings new challenges and opportunities for growth, and I'm fully committed to giving my best effort in pursuit of success. I can't wait to hit the track and see what we can achieve together as a team" - Niclas Grönholm

For the first time in World RX history, the cutting-edge electric RX1e cars – introduced two years ago – will go doorhandle-to-doorhandle with their sustainably-fuelled RX1 combustion counterparts as they rejoin the fray. This addition adds another fascinating dimension and an intriguing twist to what is already one of the most thrilling forms of motorsport on the planet.

"The groundbreaking electric RX cars will now face off against their combustion-engine rivals, which run on renewable fuels, in what promises to be an electrifying showdown on the track. These cars will help us win the championship" stated Jussi Pinomäki, team manager for CE Dealer Team

The 2024 calendar, approved during the FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting, features five weekends of double-header events, totaling ten rounds in the championship.
