Ice and street races new features on 2025 FIA World RX calendar

The 2025 FIA World Rallycross Championship calendar will feature a thrilling mix of old and new as the championship will race on ice, on streets and traditional rallycross circuits.

“We are incredibly happy with the diversity of this calendar,” expressed World Rallycross Promoter Managing Director Arne Dirks.

“To have a mix of traditional events, as well as all-new stops mixed in with brand-new concepts was always the aim for us as the Promoter. If we are to look at the 2025 calendar, we can confidently say we are close to achieving the perfect blend.”

The season will start in January with an ice race in Canada, followed a traditional rallycross circuit in Hungary in April.

The third round will feature a street race in the United Kingdom during the first weekend of June in a yet to be revealed city.

The championship then moves on to Finland at the all-new Kymiring in June, while July means the iconic Höljes weekend in Sweden and later that month will see Türkiye host the penultimate round.

The season finale will be held Downunder as Australia makes it FIA World RX debut on November 21-23.
