CE Dealer Team heads to Turkey for new FIA World RX season finale

The FIA World Rallycross Championship organisation has confirmed a new venue for its 2024 season finale, with Istanbul Park returning to the calendar in November for the first time since 2015, replacing the previously planned round in China.

“We thank TOSFED (Turkish Automobile Association), for their support in organising the final round of the season,” said World Rallycross Promoter Managing Director Arne Dirks.

“We believe this is the renewing of a long-term partnership with TOSFED to bring top-level rallycross back to Istanbul.

“Just as importantly, we are thankful to the FIA and for the continued expertise we receive from Volvo CE, whose track building knowledge is vital to the success of this event.”

Volvo Construction Equipment, the Official Track Building Partner of the FIA World RX, has already begun work on upgrading the track with its innovative and cutting-edge machinery ahead of the return of the championship on November 9-10.

CE Dealer Team will continue its fight for the FIA World RX team medals at Istanbul Park, heading into the season finale ranked third overall in the teams' standings.

Niclas Grönholm is currently placed fifth in drivers' standings, just 21 points from second place, with team-mate Klara Andersson sixth.
